Why Not Me?? Why Not Us??

More of a confession sort.

You never know what life has, in the arcane, in the backdoor.
You come across people, thousands of them, you may like some and loath others,
And then, there’s the one, the one who strikes the best, sends down shivers, tantalizes, confuses.

You been through people of varied interests and choices.
May also been close to some, so close, that was inseparable.
But nature has plans, plans so resolute, they’re bound to happen.
And when they do, you just  go rogue,and may get indecisive as it is the day.
The one, in whom rests your imagination, has arrived.
Feelings arise, they’re born, so pure, so complete, so selfless.
Maybe you’re into something, maybe that’s love.
You feel this to be the moment, the true one,
The moment that urges you to fall into the one with all entirety, everything you possess.
You hope and pray for the togetherness and warmth you been longing for.
The blissfulness of a smile from the one comforts you to heights unmatched.
You want being loved, to the extent you do..

But then, dear you, things aren’t always what you want them to,
Maybe the time isn’t right, maybe important stuff lies at the helm,
And you don’t get that, the love you offered and fancied.
However, it’s not the point to give up, to let it all go.
The clock is bound to turn, it’ll get fixed up, only if you wish to stay back.
No efforts be lessened, as she still is the queen you dream of,
And believe me, dear  you, we all get rewarded, with prizes we deserve,
Be the one who deserves the queen, Be the king, unrivalled unmatched.
It’ll call for efforts so huge at times, but then, that’s the price and you know the prize.
There isn’t  an answer to why not, but there’s definitely a way out.
The way that’ll bear you the life of your dreams.
Perseverance being the key, affection the force and patience the fashion.
