The Day In Spain

“Aargh!! That hurts”, said my very beautiful girl when hit by a tomato, maybe hard. And she’s all red today, red as a tomato, and why be not, we’re in the most joyous and celebrated event one can ever be, the La –Tomatina festival in Buinol, Spain.
It was just Friday, that we flew to this wonderful country, managing a week’s leave from the filthy Delhi traffic, with chunks of disturbing news every now and then.
To enjoy a feast at the best, more than the mood and the setting, you have to have some like-minded encouraging company.And I couldn’t find someone so close and nice, than the one herself, mine in fact. Who always manages the fire within, be alive and the spirits high.Without a doubt, the best counterpart one can have.
So, plans made and off we go, a day in the capital, and then to the annual affair, La Tomatina, where it’s tonnes and tonnes of red,ripe tomatoes and music all around.
